Equipping Pastors Worldwide with the Power of God’s Word
Intensive Care Ministries (ICM) began in 1985 when Pastor Dan Finfrock, after serving at Calvary Chapel Banning (now Calvary Chapel Beaumont), moved his family to the Philippines to begin a new ministry. There, he developed and began teaching Inductive Bible Study (IBS) — a method designed to help pastors and ministry leaders study, understand, and teach the Bible directly and accurately.
Today, ICM’s IBS training materials have been translated into 55 languages and taught in 55 countries around the world. The largest impact is currently in Africa, where there are 8 active Bible schools for pastors across Tanzania, Sudan, and Kenya, with more launching soon — including a new school in Liberia. Hundreds of pastors have completed this training, transforming the way they teach God’s Word and equipping them to lead their churches with biblical truth.
How You Can Pray for Intensive Care Ministries
For our staff serving in Russia, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and across Africa — that they would be strengthened and encouraged in their work.
For our Bible schools — currently 6 in Tanzania, 1 in Sudan, 1 in Kenya, and a new school soon launching in Liberia — that they would be effective in training pastors to teach God’s Word faithfully.
For the pastors who’ve completed training — that they would boldly and accurately preach the Word in their communities.
For Pastor Dan — as he travels extensively, leading training sessions and encouraging leaders in many nations.
